Guy Signor is the President & Chief Executive Officer at Journey Health Systems. He is a native of Bradford, PA. Guy started his career in behavioral health in 1996 when he took a position as a direct care worker at Beacon Light Behavioral Health System. He moved quickly up through the ranks, holding therapist positions, supervisor roles, and eventually executive director of all children's residential programs and then on to executive director of adult residential programs through Beacon Light's Ramsbottom Center Inc. Guy earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and then continued his studies at St. Bonaventure University where he received a master's degree. Guy is the epitome of the kind of career growth that is possible with Journey Health System and its affiliates- from entry level to top level!
Heidi Thomas is the Chief Financial Officer at Journey Health System. She is responsible for the management of the fiscal services department. She also oversees payroll and tax filings. Heidi earned her Bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State University and her MBA from Clarion University, before becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Heidi lives in Ridgway with her two teenage children and three cats. Though her work on various nonprofit boards in the community keeps her pretty busy, she also enjoys playing volleyball, bike riding, listening to live music, and reading.
Heidi joined the Journey Health System Board of Directors in 2000, but was employed with Dickinson Center, Inc, an affiliate of JHS, for 15 years. She says that she has an awesome accounting department at JHS and loves her work.
John Policastro is the Vice President of Support Services at Journey Health System. He oversees the activities of several departments such as Facilities, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing and more. He received his bachelor's degree from St. Bonaventure University. John joined Beacon Light Behavioral Health System in 2011 as the Director of Marketing prior to holding various positions in the health services industry.
Matt Mangold is the Chief Information Officer at Journey Health System. He oversees the Information Technology Services for the agency and its affiliates. Matt joined the agency in 1999 as a Network Administrator, rising to Director of Information Technology and then accepting the Chief Information Officer position in 2014. In 2022 Matt became part of the Executive Committee.
As the Chief Risk Officer at Journey Health System, Becky Jensen oversees compliance including all policies and procedures for the agency and its affiliates. She joined the agency as a supervisor in community based services while working towards a master's degree in Psychology from Gannon University. She has held position as a Casework Supervisor, Treatment Coordinator, Director of Program Evaluation, Vice President of Program Evaluation, Executive Director of the Children's Center for Treatment and Education, and VP of Licensing and Accreditation. In 2017 she accepted the position of Chief Risk Officer. Becky is another great example of the kind of career growth that is possible with Journey Health System and its affiliates!
Brenda Sanford is the Vice President of Human Resources at Journey Health System and oversees all of the employee-related services for the agency and its affiliates. Brenda achieved her Bachelor's degree in MIS and her Master's of Public Administration from Gannon University before taking on management roles in a variety of fields including retail, a POS service company, and behavioral healthcare. In 2007 she joined Stairways Behavioral Health in the Human Resources department and when SBH affiliated with Journey Health Systems in 2019 she was one of three HR Directors in the affiliation. In 2021 she brought more than 30 years of HR experience to the role of Vice President of Human Resources with Journey Health Systems.
