Deerfield Solutions (DS) is a single entity Limited Liability Company (LLC) which is owned and operated by Journey Health System, a nonprofit behavioral health company providing both adult and child services to thousands of individuals and families across the state of Pennsylvania; with a large portion of services provided in rural areas.

For the past 30 years Deerfield Solutions has served as the AACP's (American Association for Community Psychiatry) primary technology partner with the sole purpose of developing and distributing the electronic versions of the LOCUS family of tools. We are deeply committed to serving this role and are proud to work with small individual providers, hospital systems, large and small payers and county and state governments to create LOCUS scoring solutions that are resilient, customizable and proximate to existing workflows.

We work in close alignment with the AACP to grow the LOCUS tool and to ensure that it continues to be used as the gold standard in level of care decision making.

Summary:

Responsible for managing the financial aspects of executed contracts by entering finalized agreements into the accounting system, preparing and issuing monthly vendor billings, and providing accurate reports to the Controller. This position is also responsible for onboarding new clients, managing contracts and projects, as well as providing end user interface training on the Locus Online product. Ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • 4 years of accounting, billing, or contract management experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting/billing systems; ability to learn and use new software applications quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information clearly to managers, vendors, and clients.
  • Experience onboarding clients or managing projects preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
